May Fest Annual Event - Vernon Parish, Louisiana


Mayfest, winner of the Louey Award 2012 Festival of the Year, is an annual event held in historic downtown Leesville on the first weekend in May. 

Vendors from all over Louisiana and surrounding states offer home-made items and food made from scratch.

Bring your lawn chairs and join us on the courthouse lawn for two free days of family fun offering live music, vendors, demonstrating artists, children's activities, and more.

  • 9am -Opening Ceremony – National Anthem by Abbigail Holt
  • 10am -  Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Choir
  • 11:15am - CWC – Kenny Jones
  • 12:15pm - Johnson Temple Choir
  • 1pm - Marcus Davis & Harold Warren
  • 2pm  - Top Hat and the Keen Katz
  • 3:15pm - Flashback Band
  • 5pm - Josh Hyde & the Lost Parish
  • 6pm - Johnny Earthquake & the Moondogs
  • 7:30pm - Rockin Doopsie
  • 9pm - Gyth Rigdon 

VENDORS - Please download the appropriate application and turn them in to the Vernon Parish Tourism Commission as soon as possible! 
Also, please note: We aren’t going to have full access to the Courthouse in the week leading up to Mayfest due to the Netflix filming on-site.  Please call the office for info on how to contact us before stopping by. Please call the main line at 337-238-0783, ext. 103.
